The charm of an old building well settled into its landscape or townscape may conceal structural problems or perhaps the layout of the building is completely inappropriate for modern use.

These issues can be addressed before purchase by having a condition report or survey made at the point where the right building seems to present itself.

A written report in English will describe the building with a view to its structural condition and can also determine what would be necessary, in outline, for adapting the property.
